Who Can Attend?

This book club is open to all, and we encourage participants to become SIAG-EDI members. We particularly encourage men to attend. Everyone who participates will learn more about the challenges women face in the workplace. Rather than focusing on solutions or assigning blame, this book proposes specific pragmatic solutions for individuals facing these challenges. Part V (Double Jeopardy) focuses on the additional challenges faced by women of color.

Meeting Format

Participants are welcome to join for any subset of meetings of interest, including just a single meeting. The reading is encouraged but --- as with any book club --- not required. Meetings will be held online in Microsoft Teams. Each meeting will be led by a volunteer discussion leader who will prepare questions and moderate the discussion. To volunteer to lead a discussion, email tammy.kolda@mathsci.ai.
